The Mayflower Ballroom was first opened in 1947.  In its long life, it has been used not just as a ballroom, but as a USO facility and even as a skating rink! For more than 35 years, The Mayflower Ballroom has been the best place to dance in the Los Angeles area.  Straight out of the "Big Band Era" the Mayflower is actually the only original, freestanding Ballroom left in Southern California." 

The Mayflower Ballroom has one of the largest hardwood dance floors in Southern California - 9,000 square feet. Thousands of dancers have spent hours in this ballroom, dancing on the giant wood floor with  built in lights, under revolving mirrored balls  and chandeliers.

Over the years the Mayflower Ballroom has been the place to host all kinds of parties, wedding receptions, retirement parties, fashion and hair shows, high school reunions, political fund raisers, charitable events,  holiday parties, television commercials and shows, concerts and  even a location for the Movie industry.

Television and Movie Personalities, members of the Sports world, Radio, Theater, Comedians, Heads of State and many, many others have either performed at or attended parties the Ballroom.

The Mayflower Ballroom can accommodate from 150 to 650 persons. Outside caterers are always welcome at the Mayflower Ballroom. Come have your dance or party with us!
